Instead of using the recommended lock-tite cement that comes with these fixed cups, I used heavy duty gray plumber's tape (not the thin white stuff) coupled with Phil waterproof grease (the green stuff). Grease the BB threads, not underneath the plumber's tape you wrapped around the cups. After 3,000 miles, they have yet to come loose. What's more, this will not mess up your BB shell threads and makes removal during bearing overhaul much simpler.
